Hello and Welcome!
Greetings!
I'm Cameron Anderson, Owner & Founder of CHAMP Personal Training. My passion for working out started back when I was a track and field athlete in college competing in the shot put and discus. After graduating from Emmanuel College in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in health counseling psychology, I went on to earn my master's degree in sports leadership from Northeastern University in 2019. When the pandemic started, I decided to use my time during quarantine to pursue a career within my passion for fitness and get certified for personal training.
I've been lucky enough to train some really great people over my 4+ years at both big gyms and small private studios. In addition to my several years of training experience, I have taken various courses related to exercise and earned several certifications in my free time. I received my Adult CPR/AED Certification from the American Red Cross and I'm also an ISSA Level 3 Elite Trainer. I've earned not only my personal training certification through the ISSA, but additional specializations such as: Strength and Conditioning, Corrective Exercise, and Nutrition Coaching. My training philosophy is centered around functional exercise, which emphasizes improving movement patterns, with some traditional strength training mixed in.
Some of the many types of clients/conditions that I have worked with include:
Recreational Athletes
Veterans
Postpartum women
Stroke survivors
Seniors
Heart conditions
Overweight/Obese
Knee/back/shoulder/hip pain
